NorthBay Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join our growing team in Fairfield, California on a part-time basis (0.7 FTE). Located between the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sacramento, Fairfield offers an exceptional quality of life, affordable living, and convenient access to some of Northern California’s most desirable destinations.

Position Overview

The Endocrinologist will diagnose, treat, and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders, providing comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, and metabolic diseases
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for patients with both common and complex endocrine conditions
  • Provide consultative services for hospitalized patients as needed
  • Perform and interpret endocrine-related procedures and diagnostic testing
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

Qualifications
Education

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Endocrinology Fellowship Program

Certification

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Endocrinology

Licensure

  • Current and unrestricted California medical license (or ability to obtain)

Experience

  • Experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of endocrine disorders
  • Expertise in managing both routine and complex endocrine conditions
  • Experience with procedures and treatments such as thyroid biopsies, glucose tolerance testing, and hormone replacement therapies preferred

Skills

  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in endocrinology
  • Expertise in managing diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and related endocrine disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
  • Proficiency with electronic health records; experience with Cerner and/or Epic preferred

Compensation & Benefits
NorthBay Health offers a competitive compensation package for qualified candidates, including:

  • W-2 employed position
  • 0.7 FTE: $374,297 Guaranteed Salary
  • Sign-on bonus: Up to $30,000
  • Relocation assistance: Up to $15,000 for eligible candidates
