Every day, for more than 150 years, the physicians of University Hospitals have renewed a promise to meeting our patients’ health care needs. Our talented team is integral to our rich history of success and critical to our future in a dynamic environment. As stewards of the UH legacy for excellence in patient care, our physicians are guided by an unwavering commitment to our mission:

To Heal. To Teach. To Discover.

As a system, University Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology delivers approximately 8,000 patients a year at five different labor and delivery units across the Cleveland area.  Delivery hospitals include our main referral center at MacDonald Women’s Hospital as well as units at St. John’s, Ahuja, Geauga, and Tripoint Medical Centers.  Several additional sites, including UH Parma Hospital, UH Portage Hospital, and UH Samaritan Hospital provide GYN surgical services.  The system is fully integrated with all the major specialties, with 24/7 MFM and Gyn Onc backup being available.

The Department is seeking a physician for Lake Health Physician Group Women’s Health Specialists.  The group is a well-established community practice that has been serving the northeast Ohio community for over 25 years.  Currently, the practice has one office location with four physicians and a physician assistant, with opportunities to expand in order to continue meeting the needs of the community. Well-known throughout the area for providing quality and compassionate care, the physicians practice a full scope of Ob/Gyn, including office procedures. Operating room time is readily available at a highly rated hospital (constructed in 2009).  Deliveries are performed at Tripoint Hospital, which offers a new Level-II Labor and Delivery with LDRP suites. The practice emphasizes a supportive culture that allows flexibility and balance between work and home life.

The practice is located in Northeast Ohio, 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland with its many restaurants, museums, theatre district and professional sports.  There are many outdoor activities and an extensive park system.  The education system is excellent with both private and public options as well as highly ranked universities

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and primary board certification. Compensation is highly competitive.
