As Kentucky’s leading provider of expert musculoskeletal care, Bluegrass Orthopaedics (BGO) serves its patients through a team of highly skilled specialists who are committed to the independent practice of medicine. This dynamic private practice is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified, or board-eligible Non-Operative Sports Medicine Physician. The Sports Medicine service line is currently comprised of 3 physicians and 5 mid-level providers. Centered in Lexington, Kentucky, BGO has 12 sub-specialty physicians, 16 mid-level providers, 7 offices, in-office X-Ray and MRI, an outpatient surgical center, and 6 physical therapy locations.

The practice seeks a physician to continue the development of their strong Sports Medicine service line. If you are interested in joining a growing, high-volume, quality-focused group practice, then this is the opportunity for you. BGO provides care to patients throughout the Bluegrass and Southern Kentucky region. We provide care for an immediate drawing area of approximately 630,000+ in the surrounding counties and an additional 500,000+ in our satellite catchment areas.

Job Qualification:

  • Must be board certified or eligible
  • Must be able to obtain state medical license
  • Must be fellowship-trained
  • BLS required
