Pediatric Neurology Medical Director Opportunity in Greenville, NC

Maynard Children's Hospital at ECU Health Medical Center and ECU Health Neurology–Greenville are seeking a visionary, board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Neurologist to serve as Medical Director of Pediatric Neurology. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established neurology practice and provide leadership in advancing and expanding pediatric neurology services across eastern North Carolina.

As Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to develop the clinical vision, expand pediatric neurology services, and build a comprehensive program that meets the growing needs of children across a 29-county service area. Supported by an exceptional pediatric hospital, a nationally recognized neuroscience service line, and ECU Health, you will help shape the future of pediatric neuroscience while maintaining a rewarding clinical practice.

  • State-of-the-art children’s hospital features a 72-bed NICU (the second largest in North Carolina), a 12-bed PICU, 42 general/intermediate pediatric beds, and a comprehensive team of pediatric subspecialists, providing a collaborative environment for the incoming Medical Director
  • Opportunity to build and grow a multidisciplinary pediatric neurology program
  • 100% pediatric neurology clinical care and program development
  • Strong support from East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics
  • Established clinical neuroscience team inclusive of 10 neurosurgeons, including a pediatric neurosurgeon, 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine and intraoperative monitoring.
