St. Joseph’s Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Full Time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing cardiology team in Rome, New York. Position Highlights:

  • Primarily outpatient-based practice with light inpatient consultative coverage at Rome Health
  • Perform comprehensive cardiovascular procedures, evaluations, consultations, and follow-up care
  • Read and interpret cardiac diagnostics including echocardiograms, cardioversions, nuclear cardiology studies, and stress tests
  • Call Schedule: every other week which includes office call coverage and Rome Health consult coverage

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Eligible for New York State licensure.

Recruitment Package:

  • Base Salary is $600,000 per year
  • Year 2 Comp- Physicians transition to a 100% individual productivity compensation model.  All personally generated wRVUs are fully credited and compensated.  Compensation rates are aligned with the Trinity Health Fair Market Value Tables for Non-Invasive/General Cardiology.
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
  • Starting Bonus: $50,000
  • Retention Bonus: $25,000 at 2nd anniversary
  • Retention Bonus: $25,000 at 3rd anniversary
  • Fellowship compensation available- up to 100k per year for early sign on (paid out as a monthly stipend)

Syracuse, New York is located in the center of New York State. Education, convenience, and housing are the major benefits of life in Syracuse. Several top rated public educational schools in places like Fayetteville Manlius and Jamesville Dewitt are under 20 minutes away. When you would like to get away for the weekend, an easy drive four hours or so will have you in New York City or Toronto, Canada. Syracuse is also a short trip to the Finger Lake Wineries. During the holiday season, the park hosts Lights on the Lake, a two-mile (3.2 km) drive-through light show.
