Mercy Health – Tiffin is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our well-established cardiology practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to step into an existing patient panel while continuing to grow the practice by welcoming new patients. You will become part of a respected regional health system dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate cardiovascular care to communities throughout Northwest Ohio.

    • One Cardiologist
    • Two experienced Nurse Practitioners
    • Dedicated clinical and administrative support staff
  • Blend of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities based on experience:
    • Approximately 75% outpatient
    • Approximately 25% inpatient

Practice Details:

  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Office hours: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • Shared after-hours call: 15 days per month
  • Average outpatient volume: 16-20 patients per day
  • Manage your own patient panel while collaborating closely with the cardiology team

Clinical Responsibilities:

The Interventional Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care with a strong emphasis on evidence-based, patient-centered treatment. Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular disease
  • Perform coronary and peripheral interventional procedures
  • Interpret diagnostic cardiovascular testing
  • Perform and oversee:
    • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
    • Holter monitor interpretation
    • Pacemaker evaluations and device checks
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for both acute and chronic cardiac conditions
  • Coordinate care with primary care physicians, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and specialists
  • Participate in inpatient consultations and hospital rounding as needed
  • Participate in the shared call schedule to ensure continuity of patient care

Candidate Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Ohio medical license
  • Strong commitment to quality, collaboration, and patient-centered care
  • New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
