What You’ll Do:
- Provide outpatient cardiology care, including nuclear reads, stress tests, and echocardiograms
- Support in lab procedures such as stress testing, cardioversions, and echo monitoring
- Support the cardiology team with clinical assessments and procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document all clinical activities in EPIC EMR
- Participate in call coverage (average 1-2 nights/week and 1-4/5 weekends as scheduled)
- Support the lab with diagnostics and patient management
What You Need:
- Active PA medical license (or IMLC accepted)
- Board certified or eligible in Cardiology; nuclear and echo boarded required
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical cardiology experience
- DEA license
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to start as soon as possible
About the Assignment:
This position involves inpatient and outpatient cardiology services at a reputable hospital in Lewisburg, PA. The facility features a comprehensive cardiology program with diagnostic and interventional procedures, providing ample opportunity to utilize your specialized skills in a supportive environment. The provider will work alongside a full team, supporting a busy cardiology service line with 17-18 patients per day, in a system utilizing EPIC EMR.
