• End Date/Duration: Indefinite, with ongoing coverage needs
• Shift: 7-10 days per month, up to 14 days (schedule to be determined, ideally bookend weekends)
• Hours/Week: Flexible, based on coverage schedule
• Employment Type: Contract
• License/Certifications: State medical license required, board-certified/eligible in thoracic surgery preferred
• Experience: Prior thoracic/cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hr (Note: Pay package discussed upon application)

What You'll Do:

• Provide specialized thoracic/cardiothoracic surgical care to patients in the facility
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform surgeries and follow-up care within scope of practice
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards
• Document procedures accurately and thoroughly
• Support the facility's mission to deliver high-quality surgical services

What You Need:

• Active medical license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain one
• Board certification or eligibility in thoracic or cardiothoracic surgery
• At least 1-2 years of surgical experience preferred
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
