Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an Accredited School of Medicine
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Completion of a recognized Family Medicine Residency preferred
  • Licensed or eligible to obtain medical licensure in the state of Kansas

About KRRC

The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation.  

Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities.

About the facility

We are a tertiary care center, level two trauma center and is recognized by the Magnetâ„¢ organization. We are in our eighth year as a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network. As medium-sized integrated delivery system, we serve a 13-county region in Northeast Kansas.

We are located just 20 miles from Manhattan, Kansas, home of the K-State Wildcats and boasts a regional airport with daily flights to Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth. Situated in the heart of the Flint Hills, we are a proud community rich in history and traditions with low cost of living and a large variety of dining, lounging, and shopping amenities.
