Role Overview
The Department Chair helps oversee professional practice standards, quality of care, credentialing and privileging, department policies, and collaboration across clinical teams. The Chair may also serve as the facility Clinical Chief, depending on facility needs and medical staff structure. This is a hybrid leadership position that allows physicians to maintain an active clinical practice while dedicating a portion of their time to departmental leadership, quality initiatives, physician engagement, and strategic planning.

Qualifications
MD or DO degree | Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Active Georgia medical license, or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure
Active member of the medical staff in good standing
Demonstrated leadership experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
