BJC Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join a growing pediatric program at Alton Memorial Hospital, a community-focused hospital just minutes from St. Louis.
This is a unique opportunity to join a practice in growth mode. A newly renovated pediatric suite is being developed in Medical Office Building B, creating a modern, efficient environment designed to support patients, families, and providers. Two experienced Pediatricians have recently committed to the practice, including one physician who will serve as both Pediatrician and Chief Medical Officer of Alton Memorial Hospital, reflecting a significant investment in the future of pediatric care. Alton Memorial Hospital is part of BJC HealthCare and maintains academic affiliations with Washington University School of Medicine, offering physicians access to nationally recognized specialists, research, educational resources, and a broad referral network. This model provides meaningful hospital engagement while supporting physician work-life balance.
Starting salary from $275,000+
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, practice history, and anticipated productivity. Practicing physicians with demonstrated productivity may qualify for higher starting compensation.
Following the initial guarantee period, providers transition to a wRVU-based compensation model, offering substantial upside for motivated physicians.

Role Purpose
The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty to the best of physician’s ability through direct patient care and spend additional time as necessary to perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations and inbasket management, conducting patient-specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.
