Join Atrium Health—Wake Forest Baptist as a Family Medicine-OB Physician in Asheboro, NC—part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country.

Join a collaborative Family Medicine practice providing a balanced mix of outpatient primary care and inpatient services, including obstetrical care. Responsibilities include managing a full-spectrum family medicine panel, prenatal care, labor and delivery services, newborn care, and inpatient rounding. This position offers the opportunity to build long-term patient relationships while caring for individuals and families across all stages of life in a supportive, team-based environment.

Highlights:

  • A combination of outpatient and inpatient care, including obstetrical deliveries.
  • Full-time providers working 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours.

Training and Experience

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school as an MD or DO
  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Family Medicine residency
  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Family Medicine-OB fellowship 
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine-OB
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Active DEA registration for prescribing privileges
  • Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license as an MD or DO
