The Indiana University School of Medicine Psychiatry Residency Program at Deaconess Health System is a newly accredited residency program that offers a unique opportunity to join and help shape a growing training program in its formative stages. Faculty will play an integral role in educating residents across the full spectrum of psychiatric care, serving diverse patient populations from adolescence through geriatrics.

In collaboration with the Program Director, faculty will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of key program components, including the didactic curriculum, continuity clinic experiences, and other educational initiatives. Core faculty members will also receive protected time to design and deliver educational content, supported by resources from the Mary O'Daniel Stone and Bill Stone Center for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

This position is ideal for physicians who are passionate about medical education, mentorship, and helping to build an innovative residency program that will train the next generation of psychiatrists.

  6. Provide education, supervision, and mentorship to psychiatry residents and other learners participating in child and adolescent psychiatry rotations through the IU School of Medicine Psychiatry Residency Program.
  7. Support the continued growth of academic psychiatry and behavioral health services within the Deaconess Health System.
  8. Weekend coverage: Approximately three weekends/quarter.
  9. Weeknight coverage: Approximately nine nights/quarter.
