Medical Director of Kidney Transplant 

Gulf Coast 

 

Position Highlights

  • M-F schedule including 1 day for admin duties. 1:5 call
  • This group completes around 200 kidney transplants per year and would like to grow that number to 250+
  • Supportive colleagues who are ready to make any changes the incoming director thinks are necessary.
  • Join and lead a strong multidisciplinary transplant infrastructure: transplant surgeons, 4 transplant nephrologists, 3 clinic APPs, 11 inpatients APPs, certified transplant coordinators, 23 RNs, social workers, pharmacy, etc.
  • DaVinci Robot and Epic EMR

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary negotiable based on experience

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Transplant Nephrologist or BC Nephrologist with substantial kidney transplant leadership experience 
  • Seeking an innovative Director with experience in kidney and kidney-pancreas transplant care, quality outcomes, selection/listing processes, living donor/transplant access strategy, and multidisciplinary leadership
