What You’ll Do
- Provide routine labor management including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Support postpartum rounding and emergency gynecologic consultations
- Manage approximately 500–600 births per year in a hospital-based OB/GYN setting
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation
- Support staff alongside Certified Nurse Midwives
- Handle limited high-risk obstetrics and transfer out as needed for less than 36 weeks
- Availability to float to additional sites including Janesville, Baraboo, Monroe Clinic, and Madison
What You Need
- Valid MD or DO license in Wisconsin (IMLC accepted)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
- 1–2 years of obstetrics and gynecology experience
- Ability to support routine labor management, C-sections, vaginal deliveries
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts and cover multiple locations as needed
- Must hold DEA registration and be willing to license via IMLC
