What You’ll Do:
- Provide solo ER coverage in a high-volume hospital setting
- Manage an average of 90-100 patients per 12-hour shift
- Diagnose and treat a variety of emergency conditions
- Collaborate with mid-level providers and healthcare staff
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout your shift
- Comply with hospital protocols and state licensing requirements
What You Need:
- Active North Carolina medical license and Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- NC Medicaid enrollment and PECOS registration
- At least 2 years of emergency medicine experience
- Ability to handle high patient volume efficiently
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
About the Assignment:This solo emergency department coverage position is based at a prominent hospital in Clinton, North Carolina. The facility sees approximately 32,000 annual patients with a daily volume of 90-100 patients. Doctors will be housed in hospital-owned apartments and are expected to provide comprehensive and efficient emergency care in a well-supported environment.
