Englewood Health is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our expanding outpatient behavioral health team.

 

About the Opportunity

 

  • This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care to lower level acuity patients in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with strong clinical and administrative support.
  • This role provides a balanced outpatient schedule, excellent work–life stability, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a thriving behavioral health program.
  • Schedule: Mon-Fri (May work one late evening shift per week).
    • Combination of in-person and telemedicine visits.
    • Potential minor coverage of the inpatient unit as needed.
    • Four (4) weekends per year of coverage for the inpatient unit.
    • Additional inpatient weekends available at additional compensation.
    • Appointments are set up in 20 min increments, ranging from 20 to 40 minutes for established patients; and 1 hour for new patients.
    • Intake schedules stay full enabling providers to ramp-up quickly.
    • Hospital-affiliated outpatient clinic setting, with some inpatient work.

What your day will look like

 

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
  • Manage an adult outpatient caseload with a diverse range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including therapists, nurses, and support staff.
  • Participate in case consultations, treatment planning, and quality initiatives.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation within the EMR.

 

Qualifications

 

  • MD/DO degree and completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New Jersey
  • DEA & NJ CDS registrations
  • AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence?based care

Englewood Health offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, comprehensive benefits package, and other incentive programs for our employees. The salary shown reflects the minimum compensation; actual compensation considers specialty, relevant experience and training.

Minimum compensation: $300,000 annually
