Consult & Liaison Psychiatrist in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Department is seeking a full-time Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist. Join a supportive team caring for patients with medical-psychiatric comorbid conditions at West Penn Hospital, a 356-bed tertiary care facility. Join a vertically-integrated fiscal and clinical delivery system that is revolutionizing behavioral health service models, providing evidence-based treatments, and measurement-based care.

Highlights: 

• Provide integrated psychiatric care within an academic medical center.
• Emphasis on collaboration between psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists and advanced practice providers within the Department.
• Facilitate psychiatry clerkship experiences for medical students and psychiatry residents.
• Weekly Grand Rounds with free CME offerings

Duties: 

• Responsible for consults that may come from any/all units within the hospital
• Supported by a psychiatric nurse (RN) clinician
• Oversight of rotating psychiatry resident 

Qualifications:

• New graduates or experienced physicians welcome to apply
• Consult & Liaison Psychiatry experience preferred
• Completion of ACGME approved Psychiatry Residency  
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry  
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) 
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
