Broward Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join the Behavioral health team at Broward Health Imperial Point in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a psychiatrist who enjoys a blend of inpatient and outpatient practice and is interested in playing an active role in the continued development and growth of behavioral health services within a large, integrated healthcare system.

The incoming physician will provide psychiatric care for inpatient admissions while supporting outpatient clinic services, with the opportunity to develop a patient panel and contribute to the growth of the psychiatry program at Broward Health Imperial Point.

Opportunity Highlights: 

  • Provide psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and management for inpatient admissions
  • Support outpatient behavioral health clinic services and develop a longitudinal patient panel
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in the continued growth and development of psychiatry services at Broward Health Imperial Point
  • Help identify opportunities to strengthen clinical workflows, access to care, and continuity between inpatient and outpatient services
  • Practice within the resources and infrastructure of the Broward Health system

The physician will have the opportunity to partner with clinical and administrative leadership to support program growth while providing high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care. 

Qualifications:

  • BC/BE in Psychiatry
  • Valid medical license in the state of FL, or ability to obtain a FL license.
  • Strong clinical skills with experience managing a diverse range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Experience in inpatient and community health psychiatry settings.
