Thoracic Surgery Opportunity | MyMichigan

MyMichigan Surgical Oncology in Midland, Michigan is seeking a full-time, Board Certified/Board Eligible Thoracic Surgeon to join its Surgical Oncology team, providing both operative and consultative thoracic surgical care.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time opportunity with MyMichigan Surgical Oncology at the Pardee Cancer Wellness Center in Midland, MI.
• Full surgical scope — operative thoracic surgery plus outpatient and inpatient consultative care.
• Mix of approximately 70% outpatient / 30% inpatient care, averaging 16–18 patients per day.
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with 1:2 weekday and 1:2 weekend call.
• Joins fellow thoracic surgery physicians Dr. James Fenton and Dr. Galen Ohnmacht, supported by an existing team of 2 APPs.
• Participates in tumor board as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer care team.
• EMR: EPIC.

Position Requirements:

• MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery.
• Completion of an accredited thoracic surgery fellowship.
• Open to both recently graduated fellows and experienced surgeons.
