Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon - per diem/relief

Description

PeaceHealth is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide per diem/relief coverage in beautiful Bellingham, Washington. 

Ideal Candidate 

• Demonstrated experience in Orthopedic Traumatology 
• Comfortable with both general and complex trauma cases 
• Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach and ability to work well with all stakeholders involved in a patient’s care 
• Enthusiasm for serving the community and supporting the Orthopedic program 

Highlights

• Primarily Hospital-based with a small outpatient component 
• This position is part of a team of Trauma-trained surgeons for a 12-hour day shift 
• Takes required shifts for trauma/orthopedic hospitalist program 
• Follow up appointments from trauma and Emergency Department
• Epic EMR 

Hourly per diem/relief rate: $379.40 

+ Malpractice coverage and access to select retirement and well-being benefits
