What You’ll Do
- Provide general orthopedic surgical care, including stabilization and transfer of long bone trauma
- Perform surgeries for wrist, ankle, and hip fractures, as well as I&D procedures
- Manage closed reductions and admissions within the hospital
- Be on call 24/7, providing emergency orthopedic coverage
- Collaborate with hospital staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain timely documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
What You Need
Required:
- Valid North Carolina medical license and NC DEA with NC address
- Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Active provider vaccination status
- Experience with trauma stabilization and orthopedic emergencies
- Able to handle 0-3 consults and 0-2 surgeries per day
- Residency or significant experience in general orthopedic trauma care
Preferred:
- Experience with wrist, ankle, and hip fracture management
- Ability to work independently in a busy hospital setting
