What You'll Do
  • Provide high-quality inpatient adult medical care in a community hospital setting
  • Manage a patient load of approximately 15–20 patients daily
  • Respond to codes and rapid response situations
  • Collaborate with ED staff, surgeons, and case management teams
  • Handle ventilator management and step-down patient care (experience preferred)
  • Document and coordinate patient care using Cerner EMR
  • Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled
  • Ensure smooth discharge processes and patient safety

What You Need
Required:
  • Board Certified MD (certification must be Board Certified)
  • Active Vermont medical license or eligible for licensure
  • Prior hospitalist or inpatient experience
  • Strong clinical skills in adult inpatient medicine
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:
  • Experience with ventilator management
  • Knowledge of trauma care facilities (Level 3 trauma capable)
  • Ability to work independently in a supportive environment
