Position Overview
Join Anesthesia Specialists of Bethlehem (ASB), a stable, long-standing private practice offering outstanding compensation, flexible scheduling, diverse practice settings, and a clear path to partnership.
ASB has grown to 90 anesthesiologists and 180 CRNAs and provides anesthesia services across 13 inpatient sites and 4 ASCs within St. Luke’s University Health Network, including one Level 1 and two Level 2 Trauma Centers.
We are seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join this established, physician-led group. This opportunity offers the resources and stability of a large anesthesia practice with the opportunity to provide both pediatric and adult anesthesia care.
Pediatric anesthesiologists take pediatric call only.
Compensation & Benefits
ASB offers an exceptional compensation package averaging approximately $655K in total annual compensation, including:
- $500K base salary
- Approximately $80K in voluntary call opportunities
- $70K 401(k) contribution
- $3,000 CME allowance
- $1,650 HRA contribution
- $100K sign-on bonus
- $2,000/month training stipend

- 8 weeks of vacation
Partnership is available after two years with a modest $2,500 buy-in.

Pediatric Anesthesia
ASB provides pediatric anesthesia services within the St. Luke’s University Health Network, caring for pediatric patients across a variety of surgical and procedural specialties, including general surgery, ENT, urology, cosmetic plastic surgery, and pediatric MRI anesthesia. The practice cares for pediatric patients of all ages, including infants and an increasing number of neonates.
Pediatric anesthesiologists care for both pediatric and adult patients as part of ASB’s diverse clinical practice, with call responsibilities limited specifically to pediatric anesthesia.
Scheduling & Flexibility
ASB offers multiple scheduling options and opportunities for voluntary call, allowing physicians to customize their workload while maintaining excellent earning potential.
For this position, call responsibilities are limited to pediatric anesthesia call.

Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship training
- Ability to obtain or hold a Pennsylvania medical license
- New graduates and experienced pediatric anesthesiologists are encouraged to apply
