Physician - MD/DO - Urologist

A unique opportunity for an experienced urologist seeking balance, flexibility, and meaningful clinical impact.

We are developing an innovative urology practice model that offers a well-defined schedule, focused clinical responsibilities, and the ability to remain engaged in patient care without the demands of a traditional full-time practice.

This position is ideally suited for an established urologist who values schedule predictability, enjoys operative and clinical care, and is interested in working with a collaborative team.  Physicians with previous locums experience, regional ties, or an interest in gradually transitioning toward retirement may find this opportunity particularly attractive.

Practice Structure

Every-Other-Week Coverage Model:

During your scheduled coverage week, responsibilities include:

• Dedicated Friday operating room block with approximately 10 hours OR time on assigned coverage weekends
• Monday outpatient clinic with approximately 8 hours of patient care after weekend of call
• Weekend call coverage associated 
• Trauma response expectation of approximately 60 minutes
• Defined and limited on-site weekend requirements

This intentionally streamlined schedule allows physicians to maintain clinical engagement while enjoying substantial time away from practice responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking an experienced, board-certified or board-eligible urologist who:

• Is comfortable providing general urology care and weekend call coverage
• Values a predictable and lower-volume practice model
• Enjoys contributing to an established, collaborative department
• Is interested in a structured three-year opportunity with the potential for future reassessment and continuation
