Quick Facts

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM AND 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shifts)
• Hours/week: 12 hours per shift (minimum 10–12 shifts/month, flexible scheduling)
• Employment Type: Contract / Locums
• License/Certs: Active Oregon license, DEA, BLS, ACLS, PAL, ATLS, NRP preferred
• Experience: BC or BE in Emergency Medicine, preferable ABEM, or extensive EM experience with FM or IM background
• Additional: Clean files preferred (no malpractice issues, clean NPDB report)

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care for adult and pediatric patients in a small-volume emergency setting
• Manage a variety of clinical cases, including intubations and complex presentations
• Collaborate with hospital staff and follow protocols for patient care
• Document patient encounters accurately using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Work approximately half the shifts during night hours and half during days, based on schedule needs
• Adhere to facility policies and contribute to a team-focused environment

What You Need
Required:

• Active Oregon medical license
• DEA registration
• BC or BE in Emergency Medicine within 3 years (ABEM highly preferred, FM or IM with extensive EM experience considered)
• BLS, ACLS, PAL, AtLS (NRP preferred)
• Willingness to work night shifts and intubate patients

Preferred:

• Previous ER experience, especially in small or rural hospital settings
• Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work a mix of day/night shifts
