What You'll Do
- Serve as core faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track
- Mentor residents and supervise clinical experiences in primary care, population health, and value-based care
- Deliver comprehensive Internal Medicine care, focusing on health disparities and social determinants of health
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including care managers, pharmacists, social workers, and community partners
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in scholarly activities
- Incorporate evidence-based, patient-centered, and equitable care practices into daily clinical operations
- Support operational improvements and clinical standards within a growing academic environment
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Texas medical license
- Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Experience in population health, health equity, or value-based care
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred:
- Experience in academic teaching or mentorship
- Familiarity with health equity principles and multidisciplinary collaboration
