What You'll Do
  • Serve as core faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track
  • Mentor residents and supervise clinical experiences in primary care, population health, and value-based care
  • Deliver comprehensive Internal Medicine care, focusing on health disparities and social determinants of health
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including care managers, pharmacists, social workers, and community partners
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in scholarly activities
  • Incorporate evidence-based, patient-centered, and equitable care practices into daily clinical operations
  • Support operational improvements and clinical standards within a growing academic environment
What You Need
Required:
  • Valid Texas medical license
  • Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Experience in population health, health equity, or value-based care
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred:
  • Experience in academic teaching or mentorship
  • Familiarity with health equity principles and multidisciplinary collaboration
