Opportunity Details

The University of Kentucky College of Medicine Department of Radiology is recruiting three full-time neuroradiologists to join its Division of Neuroradiology.

Physicians may work fully remotely or onsite in Lexington, Kentucky. The department offers a traditional Monday through Friday schedule and is also open to flexible block scheduling based on the physician’s preferences and division coverage needs.

Qualified candidates may be appointed at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level based on experience and academic qualifications.

PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Three full-time neuroradiology openings
  • Fully remote or onsite work arrangement
  • Traditional Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
  • Flexible block scheduling options may be considered
  • Weekend coverage shared among faculty members in the division
  • Established Division of Neuroradiology with a neuroradiology fellowship
  • Support a high-volume academic health system and Level I Trauma Center

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Starting salary of $467,500 at the Assistant Professor level
  • Additional compensation based on academic rank and experience
  • $50,000 signing bonus, subject to applicable conditions
  • 200% retirement plan match with a three-year vesting period

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree
  • Completion of an accredited diagnostic radiology residency
  • Completion of a neuroradiology fellowship
  • Board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology
  • Eligibility for appropriate medical licensure and credentialing
  • Commitment to high-quality clinical care and collaboration

The UK College of Medicine Department of Radiology is a multidisciplinary academic department committed to clinical care, education, research, and innovation. Faculty support UK HealthCare’s Level I Trauma Center, an NCCN-accredited Comprehensive Cancer Center, Golisano Children’s at UK, and a growing network of imaging facilities.

The department offers several residency and fellowship programs and participates in more than 50 ongoing clinical trials.

LOCATIONS

Fully remote work is subject to University of Kentucky employment, licensing, and credentialing requirements.

Physicians who choose to work onsite will practice in Lexington, Kentucky. Lexington offers excellent schools, an affordable cost of living, scenic surroundings, and convenient access to Louisville and Cincinnati.
