Position Overview - Interventional Cardiologist

MyCardiologist is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our established physician-led cardiovascular practice serving the Miami-Dade Communities. This role will primarily support our Miami-area clinics and affiliated hospitals, and future opportunity within our local Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), with a mixture of coronary based work and opportunity to support some peripheral work (pending experience/training)

Key responsibilities/services include:

• Coronary interventions and complex coronary procedures
• Opportunity for Peripheral vascular interventions (based on training and experience)
• Cardiac catheterization and advanced interventional services
• General cardiology consultations and follow-up care
• Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular management

The incoming physician will have access to state-of-the-art equipment across clinic and hospital settings while collaborating closely with APPs, medical assistants, and administrative teams.

Shared STEMI call responsibilities provide balanced physician support and work-life integration with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, production bonuses, additional incentives, comprehensive benefits package, and partnership/equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Board Certified / Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Board Certified / Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology training programs
• MD or DO
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Open to experienced physicians and current fellows
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and quality improvement

MyCardiologist is a Partner Practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA).

Our practice was started in 1960 by Dr. Bernard Silverstein. In 2007, it moved to its current location in the Medical Arts Building of the South Miami Hospital complex.

Members of our group have served in medical leadership positions in the hospital and community to ensure continued access to excellent medical and cardiac care, also providing lectures to the community on cardiac wellness and prevention.

Furthermore, it is our philosophy to emphasize wellness and prevention. Our physicians operate within a full-service cardiology office that treats all aspects of cardiac illness.

In addition to regular or annual check-ups, patients come to us for routine monitoring, sophisticated diagnostic testing, and pre- and post-operative care. We offer many specialized tests in our office to diagnose whether a person has cardiovascular disease and how it is affecting them. We also see many patients who are referred by other physicians for evaluation.

We pride ourselves on being respectful of our patients’ time and patients who arrive on time for their appointments rarely wait more than 20 minutes before seeing a doctor. While the office maintains regular Monday-Friday hours, the physicians are available around the clock for emergencies.
