Position Overview - Non-Invasive Cardiologist

MyCardiologist is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our established physician-led cardiovascular practice serving our patients through the Fort Lauderdale area. This role includes a combination of clinic-based cardiovascular services and support of our growing First Responder Cardiovascular Health Program.

Clinical and First Responder Cardiovascular Services Include:

• Echocardiography (TTE/TEE), Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac CT Imaging
• Stress testing and comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostics
• Preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk reduction
• Cardiovascular evaluations and ongoing cardiac care for first responders, including firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, and other public safety professionals
• Cardiovascular risk assessment, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and return-to-work cardiac consultations
• Longitudinal management of cardiovascular conditions to support occupational health, performance, and long-term wellness

Flexible schedule - Option for a Monday-Thursday OR Monday-Friday schedule.

The incoming physician will primarily support clinic services within our Fort Lauderdale office and contribute to the continued growth of our First Responder Cardiovascular Health Program.

Physicians are supported by an experienced team of APPs, medical assistants, and administrative professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, production bonuses, additional incentives, comprehensive benefits package, and partnership/equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease training programs
• MD or DO
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Nuclear and Echocardiography certification preferred
• Interest in cardiovascular screening, prevention, and longitudinal care for first responder populations
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and quality improvement

MyCardiologist is a Partner Practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA).

Our practice was started in 1960 by Dr. Bernard Silverstein. In 2007, it moved to its current location in the Medical Arts Building of the South Miami Hospital complex.

Members of our group have served in medical leadership positions in the hospital and community to ensure continued access to excellent medical and cardiac care, also providing lectures to the community on cardiac wellness and prevention.

From the beginning, we have been dedicated to providing excellence in cardiac care to all patients, striving to make state-of-the-art technology accessible. Additionally, our doctors and staff pride themselves on delivering respectful and individualized care to each person who walks through the door.

Furthermore, it is our philosophy to emphasize wellness and prevention. Our physicians operate within a full-service cardiology office that treats all aspects of cardiac illness.

In addition to regular or annual check-ups, patients come to us for routine monitoring, sophisticated diagnostic testing, and pre- and post-operative care. We offer many specialized tests in our office to diagnose whether a person has cardiovascular disease and how it is affecting them. We also see many patients who are referred by other physicians for evaluation.

We pride ourselves on being respectful of our patients’ time and patients who arrive on time for their appointments rarely wait more than 20 minutes before seeing a doctor. While the office maintains regular Monday-Friday hours, the physicians are available around the clock for emergencies.
