Nocturnist | Telecommuting Opportunity

What We're Looking For

The Digital Health Virtual Care Network team at Novant Health is looking for a board certified/board eligible Nocturnist to join our rapidly growing team. This role will support the delivery of clinical services using telehealth modalities and contributes to the development, standardization, and optimization of digital care delivery across the organization. Responsibilities include synchronous and asynchronous telehealth visits, remote patient monitoring oversight, virtual specialty consult services, and participation in digital care programs across service lines. This position collaborates with clinical, operational, and technical teams to maintain quality, compliance, and continuity of care.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
• Active North Carolina Medical License (or ability to obtain), prefer South Carolina Medical License as well (or ability to obtain)
• Comfort with telehealth platforms and multi-monitor set ups, plus demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in a virtual environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully across an interdisciplinary team
• Experience in hospital medicine
• Experience working in a telehealth/virtual care setting preferred
• Must live in a state approved in the Novant Health Hiring Footprint
