- Daily patient census: 8–10 patients per half-day of clinic and 3-5 inpatient consults per week
- Academic responsibilities include supervising residents and participating in teaching activities for medical students and residents
- Scholarly activities include at least one peer reviewed manuscript per year and submission of abstracts or posters to national meetings

- Call: 1:4 rotation, with vascular coverage adjusted based on volume and surgical load
- Patient Volume: 10–15 patients per clinic day; 8–10 procedures per week
- Patient Mix: Majority outpatient surgical cases with inpatient consult coverage as needed
- Practice Setting: 500-bed academic-level community hospital with Joint Commission PVD designation and Center of Excellence designation for weight loss surgery
- Billing & Coding: Handled entirely in-house — no administrative burden on the physician
