As the region's primary hospital for deliveries, our campus features a 144-bed children's hospital, a Level IV Maternal designation, and a brand-new 30-bed Level IV NICU — giving you access to a truly comprehensive women's and newborn care environment. You'll step into a well-established, collegial group supported by 18 OB/GYNs, 4 Uro-GYNs, and 7 APPs, with the infrastructure and team depth to let you focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Position Highlights

  • Specialty: OB/GYN — outpatient and inpatient
  • Practice Setting: Tenet Healthcare | The Hospitals of Providence – Memorial Campus, the region's leading women's health facility
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM standard work schedule
  • Call Structure: Rotating weekday and weekend call for own clinical patients; OB Hospitalist Group available for triages and OB ED patients — no direct ER call responsibility
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 10–15 deliveries per month to start; outpatient census of 30–35 patients per day on non-surgery days
  • Team Support: Join a robust group of 18 OB/GYNs, 4 Uro-GYNs, and 7 APPs
  • Teaching: Opportunity to teach medical students and residents
  • Billing & Collections: Handled entirely in-house, so you can stay focused on patient care

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Spanish language skills preferred, but not required

The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus is the cornerstone of the Hospitals of Providence network in El Paso.  The Hospitals of Providence has cared for generations of El Pasoans and those throughout the region. The Memorial Campus is a 500-bed hospital that features our all-new private room Level IV NICU, the highest designation in the State of Texas. Combine that with our Level IV Maternal Care designation and newly remodeled labor and delivery suites, the Memorial Campus prides itself in providing the highest level of care for women in the region. The Memorial Campus also features a 24-bed Intensive Care Unit, an 18 bed Geriatric Behavioral Unit, and is home to our Cancer Program, which features an in-patient unit, outpatient infusion and our one-call patient navigator system. The Memorial Campus has received the Joint Commission designation for Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) and earned a Center of Excellence designation for weight loss surgery.

Providence Children’s Hospital, a 140-bed pediatric hospital, is also located on the Memorial Campus and serves children of all ages with a wide array of surgical and diagnostic services. Our Specialty Transport team is also housed at the Memorial Campus and offers regional transport for high-risk mothers, infants, and pediatric patients.

The Memorial Campus Emergency Department offers both an adult as well as a pediatric emergency room. From non-life-threatening emergencies to life’s most critical circumstances, our emergency room provides an advanced array of specialties 24/7. With a Level III Trauma Center Designation, Memorial Campus is dedicated to providing specialized emergency care close to home.

The Memorial Campus offers cardiology care earning the 2023 American College of Cariology Silver Performance Achievement Award and Chest Pain - MI Registry Silver Performance Achievement.
