Faculty Physician - MD/DO - Primary Care

SSM Health St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency in Oklahoma City is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Faculty Physician to join our dedicated and collegial team.

Our 9-9-9 ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program with Osteopathic Recognition is committed to developing exceptional family physicians who are prepared to serve their patients and communities with compassion, skill, and purpose. As part of a Catholic-sponsored health system, our mission is to train residents to reveal the healing presence of God through exceptional healthcare.

A Role Built Around Teaching, Mentorship & Patient Care:

As a faculty physician, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with residents throughout their training while continuing to maintain your own clinical practice.

Faculty responsibilities include:

• Outpatient clinical care
• Resident precepting and mentorship
• Inpatient teaching and attending responsibilities
• Participation in the academic and educational activities of the residency program
• Obstetric care, if desired, but not required
• Opportunities for physicians with an interest in geriatrics, though this is also not required

We are particularly interested in a physician who enjoys teaching, values collegiality, and wants to invest in the development of the next generation of family physicians.

Our Family Medicine Center serves a diverse patient population and offers faculty and residents exposure to a broad range of patient needs and community-based resources.

Our program and clinic include:

• A food pantry supporting patients experiencing food insecurity
• A medical-legal partnership
• Multiple Butterfly point-of-care ultrasound devices
• Reach Out and Read partnership
• Addiction treatment services, including medication for opioid use disorder

A Schedule Designed to Support Your Faculty Role

A typical faculty schedule includes:

• 2–3 half days of personal clinic each week
• 3–4 half days of resident precepting each week
• Protected administrative and academic time
• Inpatient attending responsibilities approximately every six weeks
• Overnight call approximately once per week

Our compensation model is designed to allow faculty to focus on what matters most: teaching, mentoring, and providing excellent patient care rather than productivity-based compensation.

Additional compensation opportunities are available for certain inpatient and obstetric coverage.

Located in Midtown, SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Oklahoma City has been serving the health care needs of central Oklahoma and surrounding counties for 125 years.
