Are you a Neurologist with fellowship training in Migraines?

The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Brown Neurology has an opportunity for a Migraine Specialist to join our academically oriented Department of Neurology.  In this new position you will work as part of a team to develop a robust research program in the migraine center and participate in the educational programs in Neurology for medical students and residents as well as other staff members at Rhode Island Hospital. 

About the job:

• Work at our ambulatory headache clinic located on the main campus of Rhode Island Hospital
• Work with 2 other neurologists with fellowship training in headache medicine
• Work Monday-Friday 8a-5p
• Use a multidisciplinary approach to migraine and headache management, including both neurological care, as well as physical therapy
• Use Botox injections, trigger point injections, nerve blocks, infusion therapy, prevention and emergency/urgent treatments, and oral medications
• Academic appointment to Brown with teaching responsibilities
• Opportunity to participate in research and other scholarly activities

About you:

• Board certified or eligible in Neurology additional fellowship training or experience in headache/migraines preferred
• Completion of a US-based Neurology residency required
• Demonstrate excellence as a teacher of Neurology
• Interest in settling long term in Rhode Island &/or Southeastern Massachusetts
