Advance Cardiac Imaging Cardiologist (MD/DO)

Traverse Heart & Vascular is seeking an Advance Cardiac Imaging Cardiologist to join our experienced team of 27 cardiologists and 19 advanced practice providers at Munson Healthcare in beautiful Northern Michigan.

Our cardiovascular program offers a broad spectrum of services, including general cardiology, advanced imaging, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart disease, and advanced heart failure. We also provide care throughout the region via multiple outreach clinics staffed by our cardiovascular team.

This position offers a balanced mix of general cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging, with a particular focus on the continued growth of our Cardiac MRI program. The successful candidate will serve as Director of the Cardiac MRI Program and Co-Director of the Cardiac CT Program, providing clinical leadership and helping shape the future of advanced cardiovascular imaging across our health system. Due to expanding patient volumes and increasing subspecialty needs across our service area, Cardiac MRI has become a strategic priority within our cardiovascular service line.

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected cardiovascular program and assume a key leadership role in the development and expansion of our Cardiac MRI services. The position also provides exposure to the full range of non-invasive imaging, including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

Standard Qualifications:

• Board Eligibility/Certification in Cardiovascular Disease
• Level II or Level III Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI training, or equivalent post-fellowship training and experience qualifying the candidate for independent interpretation and credentialing in the applicable imaging modality
• Level II or III Echocardiography/Nuclear Cardiology Training preferred
