Job Summary:

The Regional Medical Director of Emergency Medicine serves as the senior physician leader for emergency services across a defined region of hospitals and/or freestanding emergency departments and provides comprehensive clinical, operational, quality, and professional leadership to ensure high-quality, patient-centered emergency care. The Regional Medical Director is accountable for aligning multi-site emergency department performance with organizational and division-level goals through oversight, standardization, collaboration, and physician leadership rather than prescriptive task execution. The Regional Medical Director functions as the primary physician liaison among Site Chiefs, emergency clinicians, hospital leaders, system/division leaders, and community stakeholders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement across the region. Duties may be performed directly or through appropriate delegation to Site Chiefs and other physician leaders, with the Regional Medical Director retaining oversight and accountability.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine 
• Florida License and DEA Required
• Manage financial Performance and revenue cycles
• No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension in any jurisdiction
