Practice Inpatient Medicine Differently

Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine physician to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an internist who enjoys caring for complex medical patients but is looking for an alternative to the traditional hospitalist model.

Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute is a 40-bed freestanding acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital providing comprehensive care for patients recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries, and spinal cord injuries.

As an Internal Medicine physician, you'll work closely with PM&R physicians, therapists, nurses, and other clinical specialists to manage the medical needs of patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for or able to obtain an Illinois medical license
• Interest in inpatient rehabilitation medicine
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Inpatient experience preferred, but not required

Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our institute has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies, as needed.
