Opportunity Criteria
- Seeking a motivated clinician educator to join our growing faculty and fellowship program in Winston-Salem
- Call Schedule: 1 in 20 rotation, Only 1–4 weekends per year
- Work Schedule: 80% clinical / 20% academic
- Clinical: 2 days endoscopy, 1–1.5 days clinic
- Academic: 1 day/week protected time (typically remote), flexible use for research, teaching, or other academic initiatives
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an Internal Medicine residency
- Completion of a Gastroenterology and/or Hepatology fellowship
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- DEA license for prescribing medications
- Academic interest in teaching or research

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist (AHWFB) is a $5.7 billion pre-eminent academic health system based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
