About The Program

Trinity Health Muskegon is launching an intensivist-driven Cardiac Critical Care program within our organization on the Lakeshore. This is a wonderful opportunity to join as a founding physician and shape a next-generation cardiac ICU in collaboration with an exceptional cardiac care team. This 10-bed, 24/7 intensivist-staffed unit will deliver comprehensive care for high-acuity cardiac patients, including post–open heart surgery, cardiogenic shock, STEMI/high?risk ACS, and selected structural heart cases. The model mirrors regional community standards and replaces fragmented co-management with unified, expert-led critical care.

Why We’re Building This

We are aligning care delivery to ensure consistent hemodynamic and metabolic management, streamline decision?making, reduce variability, and improve outcomes for critically ill cardiac patients.
