Interventional Cardiologist in Jacksonville, Florida

First Coast Cardiovascular Institute (FCCI) has been Jacksonville's leading independent cardiology group for more than 20 years and is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join its thriving physician-led cardiovascular practice serving the greater Jacksonville region and surrounding communities. 

 

Group Overview  

This position offers the benefit of practicing within an independent, physician-focused environment while maintaining access to the resources, referral support and stability of First Coast Cardiovascular Institute (FCCI).  We are a growing cardiovascular practice with nine locations throughout the region, including Florida locations in Jacksonville, Orange Park, Fruit Cove, Palatka, and Waycross, Georgia.   

 

Our cardiovascular group includes: 

  • 4 General Cardiologists 
  • 10 Interventional Cardiologists 
  • 2 Electrophysiologists 
  • 19 APCs 
  • 4 Sleep Medicine/Pulmonology physicians 
  • 2 Wound Care physicians 

 

The Ideal Candidate

Position Highlights  

  • Join an established cardiovascular team that consists of 22 physicians and 19 APCs, including 10 interventional cardiology partners 
  • Full-time opportunity 
  • Strong referral base and high new-patient volume of approximately 800–1,000 new patients per month 
  • Mix of hospital-based procedures, clinic, and OBL-based interventions 
  • Practice across HCA Memorial Hospital, HCA Orange Park Medical Center, and HCA Putnam Hospital 
  • Access to 2 physician-owned office-based labs, with ASC expansion planned 
  • Opportunity for involvement in GME and physician education through HCA Orange Park Medical Center 
  • Physician-led practice with opportunities for long-term growth and leadership
