Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon

The Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join our growing team in Northeast Ohio.

This unique opportunity allows an incoming surgeon to assume an established, high-demand foot and ankle practice following the retirement of a respected subspecialist who developed one of the region’s premier foot and ankle programs.  The successful candidate will benefit from immediate patient volume, a robust referral network and significant unmet demand for specialized foot and ankle care throughout the Mahoning Valley.

As part of the Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic Institute, the physician will join a collaborative team of orthopaedic subspecialists dedicated to delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care while enjoying access to the clinical resources, research opportunities and professional support of one of the nation’s most respected healthcare systems.

The Youngstown location is situated near Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital and serves as a regional referral hub for orthopaedic care.  Cleveland Clinic anticipates utilizing these practice locations as part of the integration of Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates into the Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic Department within the Integrated Surgical Institute.

Clinical Interests and Expertise

Qualified candidates should demonstrate expertise and interest in the comprehensive treatment of foot and ankle disorders, including:

• Foot and ankle trauma and fracture management
• Forefoot and midfoot reconstruction
• Bunion and hammertoe correction
• Tendon and ligament reconstruction
• Sports-related foot and ankle injuries
• Degenerative and post-traumatic arthritis
• Total ankle replacement
• Hindfoot and ankle reconstruction
• Charcot reconstruction and diabetic foot care
• Rheumatologic and neurologic disorders of the foot and ankle
• Minimally invasive and arthroscopic foot and ankle procedures

Qualifications

Required:

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program
• Fellowship Training in Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgery
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
• Eligibility for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure

Preferred:

• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care
• Interest in teaching and collaboration with residents and trainees
• Interest in building and expanding a regional referral practice
