The successful candidate will practice across the full spectrum of Acute Care Surgery, including trauma surgery, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care, while joining a collaborative team committed to providing high-quality care to critically ill and injured patients.

CMC's Trauma Program continues to experience sustained demand, with trauma patient volume increasing from 1,415 patients in 2023 to 1,794 in 2025, with 2026 volume annualized at approximately 1,797 patients.
Trauma alert activity has also grown significantly, increasing from 3,657 alerts in 2023 to 4,261 in 2025, with 2026 annualized at approximately 4,187 alerts.
This continued growth creates an excellent opportunity for a trauma surgeon who wants to join a clinically active program and contribute to the continued development and sustainability of trauma and acute care surgery services across Northeast Pennsylvania.
