What You’ll Do
- Provide expert inpatient rehabilitation care to patients, primarily with neurologic diagnoses such as stroke and TBI
- Lead team conferences and coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts
- Supervise 3-4 advanced practice providers (APPs)
- Manage a robust consultation service with 25-40 patients
- Collaborate with hospital staff to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and best practices
- Contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment
What You Need
- Valid healthcare license in the state of North Carolina
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
About the Assignment
This position is based at an inpatient rehab hospital affiliated with New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. The facility specializes in neurologic rehabilitation, serving a maximum of 33 patients, and provides an interdisciplinary team setting focused on high-quality patient outcomes. No outpatient responsibilities are required.
