About the Opportunity
IDCare, a nationally recognized leader in infectious diseases, antibiotic stewardship, infection prevention, and travel medicine, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join our team at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway in Rahway, New Jersey.
This is a rewarding opportunity to practice in a strong community hospital within RWJBarnabas Health, supported by a collaborative, physician-led team. You will join a highly collegial group of over 60 infectious disease specialists dedicated to clinical excellence, quality improvement, and advancing the science of infectious diseases.
Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and outpatient consultation for infectious diseases at assigned hospitals and clinics
Participate in antibiotic stewardship initiatives
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and other specialists in the management of complex infections
Engage in clinical education, research, and quality improvement initiatives as desired
Contribute to quality improvement programs across the health system
Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution
Completion of an accredited Infectious Disease fellowship
Board Certified or Eligible in Infectious Disease
Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey
Strong interpersonal and clinical communication skills
