Adena Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to join an established women’s health practice just southeast of Columbus, Ohio. This is an outstanding opportunity to join three physicians and one certified nurse-midwife in a collaborative, community-focused practice with a strong surgical need and an exceptional lifestyle.

Practice Highlights

• No physician call
• 24/7 OB Hospitalist coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Practice located approximately 30 minutes from Columbus
• Four days per week on-site, including office and surgical time
• One dedicated administrative day per week
• Administrative day may be completed remotely
• Strong emphasis on gynecologic surgery
• Ideal opportunity for a physician seeking a balanced OB/GYN practice

Clinical Opportunity

The ideal candidate will enjoy a broad OB/GYN practice and be comfortable with a significant gynecologic surgery volume. Responsibilities include office-based women’s health, obstetrics, and common gynecologic procedures.

• Approximately 25–28 office visits per provider per day
• Approximately three to four surgical cases per operating room day
• Established block scheduling for the operating room
• 24/7 on-site anesthesiology coverage
• Providers deliver their own patients during weekday office hours
• OB Hospitalists assume coverage after 5:00 p.m. and during weekends and holidays
• Level I nursery with high-risk cases referred to regional centers
• Nationwide Children’s Hospital pediatric support
• Lactation consultants and new-parent education classes
• DEXA scanning available through the hospital
• Telemedicine available for appropriate patient visits

Compensation and Benefits

• Generous salary with additional income for productivity
• Signing bonus of $180,000
• Residency stipend $45,000
• 6 weeks of vacation/CME
• Malpractice Insurance w/ Tail
• CME time and allowance
• Relocation assistance
