Provider specialties include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Nurse Practitioner FM, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Psychology, Urology, Cardiology, Podiatry, Pediatrics, Infectious Disease, Vascular Surgery, Neurology, Nephrology, OB/Gyn, Midwifery, and Pulmonology. The MLK CMG delivery model allows for ample physician patient time with a team of support staff to help with care coordination and socio-economic barriers. Physician support staff include pharmacists, licensed social workers, medical assistants, nurses, diabetic educator, dietician, and care coordinators. We have also incorporated behavioral health to include a Psychologist and addiction counselors.

Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital (MLKCH), a private, nonprofit, safety net hospital, supports the medical group. MLKCH opened in July 2015 as a state of the art facility with best in class technology systems and operations. MLKCH has 131 licensed beds, including 93 medical/surgical beds, 20 intensive care beds and 18 obstetrical beds.

The mission of MLKCH is to provide compassionate, collaborative, quality care and improve the health of our community. Its vision is to be a leading model of innovative, collaborative community healthcare. MLK CMG was created to support the hospital’s mission and vision.

In April 2021, MLKCH received its accreditation by ACGME to begin its Internal Medicine Residency Program and in July 2022 welcomed its first class of Internal Medicine residents.  We also currently host multiple rotations for Harbor UCLA, UCLA Medical Center, and USC.
