Phelps Health is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a hospital-attached clinic in South-Central Missouri. You won't be building a practice alone — an experienced physician is joining the program in August 2026, giving you built-in coverage, collaboration, and call support from day one.

What You'll Do

You'll manage a full-spectrum GI caseload — diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, acute and chronic GI disease management, and preventive screening — with close collaboration from nursing, APPs, dietitians, oncology, and surgery for integrated, coordinated care. Areas of focus include:

• Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
• Management of chronic GI and liver disease, with attention to comorbidities and nutritional status
• GI cancer screening and preventive counseling

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
