Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct holistic evaluations of gastrointestinal symptoms, assessing physical, nutritional, mental, emotional, and social well-being.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage common acute and chronic GI conditions, including endoscopic procedures.
• Carefully monitor prescriptions, manage potential drug interactions, and tailor regimens based on liver function, comorbidities, and nutritional status.
• Collaborate with nurses, APPs, dietitians, oncologists, surgeons, and other specialists for integrated care, including timely referrals for complex cases requiring subspecialty expertise.
• Offer tailored GI health screenings and preventive counseling for lifestyle modifications.
• Assess GI-related daily functioning, recommend assistive devices, and advise on safety.
• Explain GI conditions, treatment, and preventive strategies in clear, understandable ways.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Physician in Gastroenterology  
• Experience serving as a collaborating physician with Advance Practice Providers

Location:

• This is a full-time position located within a hospital-attached clinic in Rolla, Missouri.
