Position Highlights:

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct holistic evaluations of genitourinary symptoms, assessing physical, functional, mental, emotional, and social well-being in patients across ages.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage common acute and chronic urologic conditions (e.g., urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate cancer), including minor in-office procedures like cystoscopy or biopsies.
• Carefully monitor prescriptions, manage potential drug interactions, and tailor regimens based on patient age, renal function, and comorbidities.
• Collaborate with nurses, APPs, oncologists, nephrologists, radiologists, and other specialists for integrated care, including timely referrals for complex cases requiring subspecialty expertise.
• Offer tailored urologic health and preventive counseling for urinary health, sexual dysfunction, and risk factor modification.
• Assess genitourinary-related daily functioning, recommend assistive devices, and advise on safety.
• Explain urologic conditions, treatment options and preventive strategies in clear, empathetic, understandable ways.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Physician in Urology
• Experience serving as a collaborating physician with Advance Practice Providers

Location:

• This is a full-time position located within a hospital-attached clinic in Rolla, Missouri.
