Job Description

ThedaCare, a highly successful northeast Wisconsin non-profit health system, seeks a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician for our Wild Rose, WI location. This position allows for an opportunity to step into a traditional outpatient established practice with a collaborative and quality driven provider team.

 

  • Full Time: 36 patient contact hours
  • Clinic Hours: M-F 7:00a-5:00p
  • Reasonable and equitable call schedule spread evenly among all providers

  • Team includes 2 APCs, one paneling and one supporting the panel
  • Averaging 15-20 patients per day.
  • The physician will partner with a dedicated, supportive, and innovative medical staff, including Advanced Practice Clinicians and MA’s.
  • ThedaCare Medical Center-Wild Rose is located on campus but not connected to the clinic; lab and x-ray are available on the campus

ThedaCare Physicians-Wild Rose qualifies for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), which supports primary care providers interested in serving rural communities through scholarships and loan repayment programs.

Competitive Compensation and Benefits

  • Income Details:
    • This is position with a flexible two-year salary guarantee based on a four- or four-and a-half-day work week.
    • In the third year of practice, the physician will move to a production compensation plan. Physician may be eligible to end the guarantee period early.
  • Generous sign-on bonus offered!
  • Vacation: 35 days annually including CME/Vacation/Holidays
  • CME: $4,500/year

Community Overview

Wild Rose is a rural community and vacation spot for many, located in Waushara County (population 24,000). Wild Rose was settled by Welsh immigrants in the mid-1850's and has a unique cultural history. For the outdoor enthusiast, Wild Rose is home to over a dozen clear, fresh water lakes with sandy beaches and miles of rivers and creeks, ideal for fishing, swimming and boating. Wild Rose is integral to the fishing industry in Wisconsin with a fish hatchery, as well as plenty of hunting options throughout the county. There are over 30 miles of snowmobile trails, a local ski resort (Nordic Mountain), as well as plenty of summer activities, such as hiking, canoeing, kayaking, camping, and more. Wild Rose also hosts an annual car show every September, bringing in many to the community.

GME Program
